We are seeking a qualified, self-starting individual to join our company as a Supply Chain Planner. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the availability of goods and materials throughout the supply chain, overseeing aspects like inventory management, forecasting, product flow, and logistics. You develop a high-level view of the supply chain and related processes in order to create and implement improvement processes designed to maximize throughput and minimize lead times.
Description:
Oversee the global supply chain/operational aspect of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management, planning, engineering
Building strategies to improve Supply Chain: reorder points, forecast accuracy, and inventory optimization
Identifies material shortages against inventory plans and develops action plan to resolve supply shortage gaps
Approval and implementing requisitions for new stocking levels in accordance with company policies
Establish performance metrics for measuring, comparing, or evaluating factors affecting the supply chain
Improving forecasting models and their application to the CRM/Pipeline business
Assessing the financial structure and inventory storage capabilities of the warehouse
Creating inventory reports and presenting suggestions to the Management Team
Collaborating with project management in preparation for project review/launch meetings
Process improvement for managing inventory turns, expedite requests, Project demands and disposal of excess and obsolete inventory
Skills and Qualifications:
+3 years of experience working as an inventory planning role or supply chain management
Experience working in SAP or third-party demand planning tools is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment
Advanced mathematical and analytical skills with experience with statistical analysis
Must be able to work under pressure, handles multiple tasks and be detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
Must be a self-starting, motivated individual, open to taking on challenges and finding ways to succeed
