Description: Our client is currently seeking a female Personal Care Assistant for the 2024-2025 school year!



Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (Female)

Location: Perkasie, PA 18944



Hours: 8:20am-3:50pm



Type: Open-ended contract



Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients.
  
  


• Promote safe and acceptable replacement behaviors to enhance communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.


• Fade prompts to encourage successful and independent responses.


• Increase the frequency or duration of appropriate behaviors through reinforcement.


• Accurately collect behavior data (A-B-C, count, frequency, duration, etc.).


• Follow treatment plan goals and seek appropriate consultation.


• Collaborate with families and treatment teams to provide effective treatment.


• Educate parents on reinforcement and early intervention.


• Inform all involved about the role of ABA-based interventions and the BT.


• Conduct reassessments as appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School graduate, GED or equivalent


• Experience with Special education or Behavioral Health Preferred


• Own reliable transportation (car)
