We seek an experienced and dynamic Office Manager to join our team and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations with a focus on staffing and human resources.Position Overview:The Family Law Office Manager will oversee the firm's daily administrative operations, with a primary focus on staffing, staff training, and other HR-related tasks. This individual will be responsible for managing employee relations, assisting with recruitment, staff onboarding, performance management of staff, and general office organization. As the role evolves, there will be an opportunity to take on financial and additional operational responsibilities as appropriate. The Office Manager will work directly with and report to the Managing Partner, serving as a key leader in the office.Key Responsibilities:Staffing & Human Resources Management:Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in the management of the hiring process, including screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, mediating conflicts and ensuring workplace harmony.Performance Management: Assist in the Implementation of and management of performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and assist the Managing Partner in addressing performance issues.Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.Training & Development: Organize training sessions, identify professional development opportunities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Administrative Management:Supervise and support administrative staff, ensuring that office workflows are efficient and deadlines are met.Oversee office operations, including scheduling, supply management, and maintaining a professional and organized workspace.Maintain personnel files and other confidential HR documentation securely.Collaboration with Leadership:Work closely with the Managing Partner to develop staffing strategies and ensure the office is adequately resourced.Provide input on office culture, employee engagement, and retention strategies.Assist in planning and executing firm-wide initiatives, such as team-building events or staff training sessions.Potential Future Responsibilities will Include:Assist with financial operations such as billing, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and budgeting.Participate in strategic planning for the firm's growth and operational efficiency.Qualifications:Proven experience as an office manager, HR manager, or similar leadership role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.Familiarity with family law practices is a significant plus, but not required.Strong knowledge of HR principles, including compliance with employment laws and regulations.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.Proficiency in office management software and HR tools.Key Competencies:Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team effectively.Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills to resolve staffing and operational challenges.Adaptability: Willingness to take on new responsibilities and grow with the position.Attention to Detail: Ensuring high-quality work and compliance with policies.Initiative: Proactive in identifying and addressing firm needs.Compensation & Benefits:Starting Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 depending on experience and background.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, 401K Matching, Life Insurance, paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.A supportive and collaborative work environment with growth opportunities for highly motivated individuals. recblid 1511wqqf8mlucuoevvjykqzw2htekf
