Insight Global is looking for a System Administrator for a large gas and oil company in Long Beach, CA. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the support, administration, and security of the company's on-site, cloud, and remote site infrastructure. You will provide technical ownership & leadership of corporate applications and security. You will manage, maintain, and implement various corporate applications to drive integration, automation, and productivity. Successful candidates are hands-on with excellent technical and customer service skills with a clear desire to respond to customer needs, to support and develop technology solutions. The team is looking for an individual who works well within a team, has leadership qualities, and a strong eagerness to grow. The individual will be required to work hybrid in Long Beach, CA - onsite 3 days a week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Must-Haves:
2-3+ years of experience as System Administrator
2-3+ years working in Windows server platform, and Linux Servers
Experience with PowerShell
Office 365 administration
Experience administering storage systems
Plusses:
Experience in a Cloud environment (Azure preferred)
Experience working with Meraki
Windows Server architecture (Group Policy, DNS, Active Directory)
Networking principles including TCP/IP, DHCP, and Firewall/switch administration
