Calendar Management: Maintain the master school calendar, avoiding scheduling conflicts, and ensuring alignment with other school calendars. Update the parent calendar and produce a hard copy of the calendar for distribution.
Communication: Prepare and send the daily newsletter, including sports updates. Manage student attendance records and communicate with parents regarding absences and tardies.
Event Support: Coordinate logistics for picture day, parent-teacher conferences, field trips, and other school events. This includes ordering supplies, arranging transportation, and managing communication.
Student Support: Assist with the middle school to high school transition process, including sending transcripts and test data. Prepare awards and certificates for student recognition ceremonies.
Academic Support: Manage textbook and supply orders, track the budget, and assist with technology troubleshooting during testing.
Administrative Tasks: Schedule meetings for the Middle School Director, update student schedules, and arrange substitute teachers as needed.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in using technology, including calendar software, communication tools, and student information systems.
Ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Friday: 7:30 am - 2:15 pm
