LHH has an immediate opening for a Legal Conflicts Analyst (working in Pacific Time Zone) to join a large and established team located across the country.
The Conflicts Analyst will be responsible for performing thorough and accurate conflicts analyses to minimize risks to the Firm. The role involves ensuring that all parties are correctly entered into the conflicts database, including corporate family trees, for conflicts purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate conflicts analyses with attention to detail and thoroughness.
Ensure correct entry of parties into the conflicts database, including corporate family trees.
Communicate conflicts analyses accurately and thoroughly to attorneys or management in writing and orally.
Maintain responsiveness, clear communication, and excellent service toward internal customers.
Organize and prioritize numerous tasks to maintain efficiency.
Address tasks in a logical sequence to minimize errors and maintain quick turnaround times.
Run conflicts searches using Boolean logic and review conflicts reports for potential conflicts of interest.
Analyze potential conflicts of interest accurately by investigating the facts, asking questions of attorneys, and analyzing data housed in firm systems.
Understand cures for conflicts such as waivers and ethics screens, as well as conflicts that cannot be waived.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience assisting in conflicts search
Experience in a research, background, or conflicts-related position, ideally in a law firm setting.
