Job Description:
The Product Applications Specialist, Strategic Solutions supports the Studio TK sales team, with a primary focus on internal sales and external dealers by providing thoughtful, innovative and appropriate product application solutions within social environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Product Applications Specialist, Strategic Solutions will assist sales in RFQ or RFP responses by translating Studio TK's brand DNA into creative product applications within the context of social corporate environments. Using their interior design knowledge, this individual will consult with sales and various internal teams to develop an application strategy for conceptual product applications.
Responsibilities will also include supporting the sales team by creating marketing collateral specific to sales team needs. This includes the creation of bid package deliverables such as floorplans, renderings, product alternate packages and dealer quotes. This position will work closely with the Studio TK Market Managers, End-Users, and Dealers.
Required Skills:
A working knowledge of corporate interiors and the ability to apply Studio TK products to spaces using AutoCad or SketchUp.
Able to translate Studio TK research and insights into creative product applications.
Strong facilitation skills, verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to conceptualize product solutions and then express them visually and verbally.
Strong listening skills to be able to empathize and understand customer's issues. Utilize advanced product knowledge to develop creative solutions that meet the customer's needs.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Detail oriented, committed to excellence: accuracy in work and attention to detail.
Able to conduct analysis, synthesis and translation. Able to take abstract information and apply in a way that yields creative and thoughtful applications.
Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and KeyShot (or equivalent rendering software).
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites
Must have strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications and Google Online Suite of tools.
Required Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from an accredited (FIDER or CIDA) institution required
0-2 years' experience in corporate interior design preferred
Contract furniture industry experience preferred
