Insight Global is seeking a Workday Implementation Lead to help spearhead the efforts of an implementation of Workday for the Academic and Human Resources modules as part of a larger campus wide modernization program. This modernization program will ensure that The University becomes the land-grant university of the future, engaging the campus community in a multi-year initiative to transform the user experience and position the University for future success through optimized systems and practices.
Must Haves:
3+ years of experience working with HRIS (Oracle or Peoplesoft) In a Cloud environment
Core HR and Academic concepts, preferably experience with a Workday HCM implementation
(5-7 years of directly relevant if they don't have a bach)
Experience working through full life cycle of HCM implementation
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, HR, or related field
Experience with integration testing, configuration testing, and end to end testing
Comfortable doing customer confirmation sessions with both technical & non-technical stakeholders
Exposure to academic world through them being a client or working for higher education institution directly

Previous experience supporting an implementation at another R1 Higher Education Institution
Day to Day:
Responsible for developing and guiding the Core HR solutions within the HCM module, including supervisory, pay and other organizations, business process framework, and security controls
Responsible for developing and guiding the Academic solutions within the HCM module by supporting the addition of academic appointments to workers in the Academic module which includes things such as type of appointment and tenure track progression.
Work closely with the human resources program lead to navigate through the architect, configure and prototype, test, and deploy methodology stages for the Core HR and Academic sub-modules
Provide subject matter expertise for current Core HR and Academic business processes and systems and configuration, data, and system requirements to support future state business processes to the program team
Identify, articulate and capture business requirements for the Core HR and Academic sub-modules in order to inform configuration and requirements
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather feedback on Core HR and Academic business requirements from departments across The University
Bring expertise, peer examples, and perspective to the Modernization Program and participate actively in conversations related to the Core HR and Academic sub-modules, as well as conversations for other modules that impact crossover functionality and/or business needs
Work with the technical and human resources teams, the human resources lead, and the implementation partner to establish test scenarios and use cases and ensure timely execution of solution testing
Manage the Core HR and Academic sub-modules scope, project timelines and dependencies, align activities, and identify and mitigate risks and issues
Develop and drive functional decisions related to Core HR and Academic, escalating to the human resources lead and other program decision-makers as necessary
Oversee the functional area teams and manage the planning of work and assigning tasks within each area
Assist in development of functional specifications for integrations and reports
Collaborate with the change management team on the creation and delivery of change management deliverables, communication, and training strategy
