Cloud Project Engineer - Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Location: Washington, DC (Mostly remote with occasional travel in the D.C Metro area)

We're seeking a Cloud Project Engineer to lead cloud-focused projects, leveraging Microsoft platforms and technologies.
About the Role
As a Cloud Project Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions for a variety of clients. This role involves hands-on work with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and networking technologies. You'll also play a key role in client onboarding and delivering tailored IT solutions that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, deploy, and migrate to Azure services including Azure Compute, Networking, AVD, Windows 365, and Entra ID.
Implement and manage Microsoft security tools such as Defender XDR, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft Purview.
Lead projects like Office 365 email migrations, SharePoint migrations, Intune configurations, and Teams Phone deployments.
Configure and manage networking hardware, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points (WAPs).
Support and troubleshoot components of Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, and Intune.
Work with networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and ensure smooth integration of virtual and physical firewalls.
Assist with client onboarding and provide exceptional customer service throughout projects.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of relevant project engineering experience, ideally in an MSP environment.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Windows Server.
Hands-on experience with networking hardware and protocols.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks like CMMC, NIST 800-171, and PCI is a plus.
A proactive, client-first mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
