This position will directly support an Army Division as an IA/System Administrator for system administration, network administration, and database administration to support, maintain and operate network enclaves for the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN), Closed Restricted Network (CRN), and NSA network. The main emphasis will be to ensure that all networks across the division stay functional to support their priority missions.
Responsibilities: • Experience in maintaining and patching systems, software and applications to eliminate bugs/defects, security vulnerabilities on networks • Experience in scanning systems for vulnerabilities and configurations to ensure networks stay up to date • Experience in maintaining Red Hat (RHEL7, RHEL8 and RHEL9) to provide updates addressing IAVA scans • Troubleshoot and debug server-based application(s) and/or IT infrastructure component(s) • Experience managing servers, which typically involves installing and upgrading the servers, as well as solving any kind of problems with the systems. • Coordinate with the Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense organizations for access to assets/scan tools necessary for system compliance • Inspecting laptops, imaging systems and password resets • Integrate COTS/GOTS hardware and software as needed
Basic Qualifications: • IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+CE, SSCP). • 3+ years' experience with degree. Additional years of applicable experience with appropriate certifications may be substituted for the degree. • College BS/BA degree • Clearance: TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly
