System Review: Assess the existing Splunk environment, architecture, and custom configurations to identify gaps or areas for improvement.
Documentation: Update and enhance system documentation, ensuring it reflects the current environment and any changes made during the upgrade.
Knowledge Transfer: Provide training and mentoring for the internal team, enabling them to maintain the Splunk environment post-engagement.
Support Tickets: Occasionally assist with Splunk-related support tickets from end users, as needed.
Collaboration: Work with program managers and other internal resources to execute the upgrade plan and address any dependencies.

Requirements
Splunk Expertise: Deep understanding of Splunk, including upgrades, architecture review, and custom configurations.
AWS Knowledge: Familiarity with basic AWS architecture, specifically EC2 instances and cloud-hosted solutions.
Documentation Skills: Strong ability to update and create comprehensive documentation.

Training & Mentoring: Experience in knowledge transfer and training technical teams to maintain enterprise-grade Splunk systems.
Strong collaboration skills to work with internal teams and stakeholders.
Preferred
