Our client located in The Woodlands TX is adding a Sr Benefits Specialist to the team! The ideal candidate should have extensive experience and a passion for benefits programs.
Experience Requirements/Role Responsibilities
Advises employees on benefit policies, resolves complex issues, and provides guidance on benefits programs and practices.
Leads or supports benefit programs such as open enrollment, wellness events, new hire orientation, and related projects.
Manages HRIS system operations and configuration for benefits administration and employee functionality.
Coordinates data exchange with carriers and brokers for claims, enrollment, and invoice review, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Monitors and ensures timely completion of audits, compliance activities, and regulatory filings related to US benefit plans, staying current on industry trends and recommending changes.
Assists in research and data analysis to make informed recommendations on benefit programs, and delivers reports to leadership for improvement.
Reviews and improves internal processes, documenting and recommending changes to support automation and efficiency.
Delivers training and promotes benefit programs to HR, management, and employees.
Collaborates with internal teams to resolve benefit issues and serves as an ongoing resource for benefit inquiries.
Workday system is highly preferred
