Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Queen Creek, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and manufacturing plant projects. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and senior project managers to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Interact with clients and subcontractors to coordinate work and ensure project requirements are met.
Assist with scheduling needs and manage project timelines.
Work on contracting and procurement processes.
Report to Senior Project Managers for dedicated scopes of work.
Utilize ProjectSight for project management (experience with these tools is a huge plus).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management.
Strong experience in commercial construction is essential.
Preference for candidates with experience in manufacturing/industrial plant projects.
Ability to work onsite from 7 AM to 5 PM, with additional availability as needed.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in project management software (ProjectSight or Procore preferred).
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
$38/hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
