Job Description
The Site Leader is a key leadership position reporting to the President of Sensorex, for all aspects of Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, EH&S, working capital management, and continuous improvement initiatives at the Garden Grove site. The Site Leader is responsible for building a culture among the organization where our customers globally consistently receive superior products at a competitive lead time. The ideal candidate is results driven, process focused, a team developer, and an excellent cross-functional communicator.
This role will be a member of the Sensorex Leadership team; therefore, joining forces daily with Sales & Marketing, HR and Finance, and is expected to significantly contribute to the vision and direction of the company. This role will partner with the rest of the Leadership Team deliver on revenue growth from new opportunities.

Key responsibilities:
Establish, develop, and execute the operations plan in support of the Garden Grove safety, quality, delivery, revenue, and cost targets.
Drive a high-performance workforce through effective talent management. Attract, coach, mentor and develop strong leaders within the organization.
Drives safety culture and ensures compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Lead environmental, health, and safety programs dealing with regulatory agencies on related matters, as required.
Formulate and implement strategic changes in manufacturing and operations that guide the organization, maintaining and improving competitive position, profitability, and conformance of products to established customer and company quality standards.
Develop and implement a vision for Automation in the facility to increase capacity, reduce risk, and enhance productivity.
Develop and maintain a "Make/Buy" and "Where Make" strategy for key categories of spend and manufacture, ensuring best approach in support of customer demand, product portfolio, cost, and operational improvements.
Lead the development and execution of a supply chain strategy focused on risk reduction, performance improvements and cost optimization.
Lead process improvement and cost reduction through continuous improvement tools and define related performance metrics. Teach others to use continuous improvement methodologies to drive out waste and variation.
Establish inventory plans and proactively manage inventory to profit plan, driving improved and sustainable processes.
Leads capacity and demand planning activities in partnership with business, finance, and HR teams.
Develop and cultivate relationships with key suppliers to ensure high quality relationships and products at a competitive cost.

Educational/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Engineering discipline required.
A minimum of five years of Operations management experience preferred.
Global operations experience in multi-cultural learning environments preferred.
Strong grounding and application of lean manufacturing philosophy and techniques required.

Up to 10%
