LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Support Coordinator to join our clients team on a contract basis. This is a hybrid position, 2-3 days in office each week. The contract is expected to convert into a permanent role.
The Project Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting our project management team to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong communication skills, exceptional multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Project Documentation: Assist in the creation, maintenance, and organization of project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
Communication: Facilitate communication between project team members, clients, and stakeholders by scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence, and distributing relevant project information.
Resource Management: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure resources are allocated effectively and that project tasks are completed according to schedule.
Risk Management: Assist in identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
Quality Assurance: Support the implementation of quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the project management team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing travel arrangements.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-project reviews and contribute ideas for process improvements and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
Proven experience 2-3 years working in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
A proactive and adaptable attitude with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems independently.
Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a plus.
