You will:
Develop systems for and/or participate in APQP/PPAP activities.
Develop systems for production's performance with QA standards.
Maintain Customer Specific Quality System Requirements.
Develop Quality Assurance training for employees.
Investigate methods for improving product quality.
Interface with Program Mgmt., Materials, and Manufacturing.
Lead TS16949 initiatives.
Liaison with external parties (customer & supplier) on matters relating to the quality system.
Develop, document, and provide for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, production, and quality.
Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
Perform Problem-solving Techniques
As a stand-out candidate you will have:
A Degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years leading a Quality team
Automotive experience
Heavy truck experience a plus
Injection molding and/or automated paint experience a plus
Must have led a plant through a QMS implementation and certification
Multi-plant experience
TS16949 experience
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from associates, suppliers, and customers.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
