Brown & Brown is seeking an Insurance Operations Auditor to join our growing team in Maitland, FL.

How You Will Contribute
Lead and perform Insurance Operations audits of Profit Centers in the Retail and Wholesale Divisions of our company.
Prepare for audits by completing delegated tasks, including examining prior audit reports and other documents and procedures specific to the Profit Center.
Conduct file audits, meticulously documenting both positive and negative findings with detailed notes and a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with the audit team to share findings and engage with Profit Center teammates to confirm any outstanding items.
Create draft and final audit reports.
Monitor and retest remediation action plans provided by the Profit Center.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the key Insurance Operations best practices.
Cultivate the ability to connect findings from file audits to potential risks to the company.
Complete internal training modules, assignments, and webinars as directed.
Pursue personal and professional development, including obtaining educational designations.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
One to two years experience in the insurance industry and a college degree preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Exhibits the capacity to quickly grasp and use various agency management systems.
Capable of researching and analyzing various types of insurance products and coverages.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrates effective organizational and prioritization skills.
Adaptable to changes and new challenges.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Profit Center teammates.
Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time.
