Life as a Claims Advocate at CES:
We are looking for a personable, enthusiastic Claims Coordinator to join our Risk Department team. Our ideal candidate will have a general understanding of commercial insurance operations and claim reporting, along with exceptional communication skills.
Your Objectives:
Making timely, meaningful contacts with employees, managers, and insurance carriers.
Following up on claims, calls, and emails promptly.
Keeping accurate claim file documentation throughout the process.
Interviewing drivers/supervisors to gather injury details.
Investigating and evaluating auto damage claims with support from the Fleet Operations Manager.
Scheduling appraisals and collaborating with insurance claims representatives.
Administering post-accident driver training.
Managing COI requests.
Key Skills & Experience:
1-2 years of office experience, preferably handling commercial insurance claims.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Engaging personality with a passion for customer service.
Strong critical thinking and resourcefulness.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong decision-making and organizational abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and skilled in spreadsheet management for tracking and reporting.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
