Emerge is seeking a Service Desk Manager for our client, a technology company with a public safety mission.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Service Desk Manager to oversee the management, deployment, and support of endpoint devices across our organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation, security, and policy compliance of devices, including Macs, PCs, smartphones (iOS and Android), and the Windows environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record in asset and policy management.
Responsibilities:
Endpoint Administration: Manage and maintain endpoint devices, including Macs, Windows PCs, and smartphones (iOS and Android).
Application Deployment: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and updates of applications using Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager (ABM).
Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of endpoint assets, ensuring efficient tracking throughout their lifecycle, with at least 3 years of proven asset management experience.
Policy Management: Develop and enforce policies for device security, usage, and compliance.
Incident Resolution: Manage tickets and escalations related to endpoint devices, ensuring timely issue resolution.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to a team, leveraging at least 3 years of people management experience to drive performance and collaboration.
Device Configuration and Maintenance: Ensure endpoints meet organizational standards and optimize their performance through routine maintenance.
Windows 365: Develop, configure, administer and deploy Windows 365 Virtual Machines.
Experience:
5-10 years of overall IT experience, with a focus on endpoint management.
Minimum 3 years of experience in managing assets.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency with endpoint management tools like Microsoft Intune MDM and Apple Business Manager (ABM).
Hands-on experience in managing devices running macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
Device and Application Management: Expertise in deploying and managing computer systems and enterprise applications.
Policy Management: Strong understanding of developing and implementing device policies. Security, Compliance and Configuration Policy Management: Develop and enforce policies for device security, usage, and compliance.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting skills across various platforms and devices.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in endpoint or device management (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate).
Experience with enterprise mobility management (EMM) tools.
Strong understanding of IT security practices for endpoint devices.
Work Environment:
Hybrid position, 3 days in office in Lorton, VA
Monday-Friday work week

Salary range is $30.00 - 40.00/hour plus full benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and PTO
