Previous experience in the construction industry is required. Responsibilities
Assist in the Development and Construction department with administrative duties as needed
Record Notice of commencements
Request utility connection of service
Call FPL to open accounts
Request water and sewer as-builts from different municipalities
Monitor job advancements and prepare job sites packets and required documents for inspections and closeout of permits
Highly proficient in Microsoft office and computer savvy
Work on time schedules for construction
Organize bidding from subcontractors
Qualifications
Highly proficient in Microsoft office and computer savvy
Bi-Lingual
Superb organization and communication skills, as well as great time management, are essential
Associate's or bachelor's degree is a bonus - high school diploma is required
Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
Knowledge of the construction industry is ideal, but not required
3 years of experience of administrative experience is needed - previous administrative duties in a busy construction office is ideal
