Nelson Pope Voorhis (NPV) is seeking qualified an Administrative Assistant to work in our Melville, New York office for an immediate start. NPV is an environmental planning firm with offices in Melville and the lower Hudson Valley providing a wide range of professional consulting services.
Responsibilities/Top Skills/Qualifications:
Perform general office management duties, including scheduling, document printing/binding, preparation of digital files.
Provide administrative support to partners and staff.
Assist in project coordination, schedule management, and project tracking.
Serve as the office liaison for staff and coordinate field and office schedules.
Review and edit documents and reports for format and readability.
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Deltek software is beneficial.
Knowledge of development regulations and environmental permitting is helpful.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong writing and copy editorial skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software products is beneficial.
