Administrative Coordinator to Finance Team - Global Investment Firm
This is a wonderful opportunity for an eager candidate to work closely to assist the Accounts Payable lead and support the Corporate/Fund Accounting, Tax and Accounts Payable teams at a leading financial firm. This is a great role for an experienced administrator who wants to take on some finance projects.
Location: 4 days/week onsite in Stamford, CT working 8:30am-5:30pm
SEEKING:
3+ years of administrative assistant experience in financial services
Experience with data entry: Proficient in handling large volumes of data across various systems with high accuracy.
Workday experience is a plus
An undergraduate degree with a strong GPA
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to prioritize/work in an environment with competing demands
Proficient knowledge of Excel
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Review and process incoming invoices and employee expense reports using Workday, Outlook, etc.
Assist with vendor onboarding, ongoing management and inquiries
Monitor the AP and Fund expense mailbox daily
Assist with Virtual Card management and execution of payment on vendor websites
Assist with tax mailings, filings, and scanning
Assist with monthly expense report submission tracking and follow up
Help with managing tax payments/refunds, withholding tax form requests, and onboarding
Assist with the review of tax extensions for accuracy/completeness and follow up with State Tax Department(s) as needed
Assist with coordination of audit confirmation process
Coordinate document signatures and preparation of PowerPoint presentations/PDF compare documents
