Our client in Shelby Township is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient data management processes, providing administrative assistance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Role Responsibilities:
  • Enter and update data accurately in our systems, including new inventory items into the POS system.
  • Provide administrative support as needed to assist with various data-related tasks.
  • Maintain and update point-of-sale files, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Generate and manage movement reports, including UPC reports by categories and promotions.
  • Update price tags and Temporary Price Reductions (TPR).
  • Ensure efficient data management processes and resolve discrepancies when identified.

Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient typing and computer literacy.
  • Previous experience in administrative assistance.
  • Knowledge of MS Office/Excel applications, including experience with macros.
  • Experience in Information Technology is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with data entry systems, POS systems, and related software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
