Our client in Shelby Township is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient data management processes, providing administrative assistance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Role Responsibilities:
Enter and update data accurately in our systems, including new inventory items into the POS system.
Provide administrative support as needed to assist with various data-related tasks.
Maintain and update point-of-sale files, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Generate and manage movement reports, including UPC reports by categories and promotions.
Update price tags and Temporary Price Reductions (TPR).
Ensure efficient data management processes and resolve discrepancies when identified.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficient typing and computer literacy.
Previous experience in administrative assistance.
Knowledge of MS Office/Excel applications, including experience with macros.
Experience in Information Technology is highly preferred.
Familiarity with data entry systems, POS systems, and related software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
