We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Administrative Assistant with a strong background in construction, interior design, and excellent administrative skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our interior design projects by utilizing their construction expertise and organizational abilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about interior design, construction, and project management.
Responsibilities:
Construction Coordination:
Collaborate with the design team to ensure seamless integration of design concepts with construction requirements.
Review construction plans and drawings to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication throughout the construction process.
Project Management:
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
Monitor project timelines and milestones, providing regular updates to the design team and clients.
Oversee on-site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Administrative Support:
Manage documentation, including project files, contracts, and correspondence.
Schedule meetings, appointments, and site visits, coordinating with various parties involved in the projects.
Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting agendas, and other relevant materials.
Material and Product Research:
Conduct research on construction materials, finishes, and furnishings to support design decisions.
Assist in sourcing and procurement of materials, ensuring they align with project requirements and budget constraints.
Client Interaction:
Work closely with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on project progress.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and visual materials for client meetings.
Qualifications:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Design Software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus.
