Responsibilities:
Project Administration:
Oversee Assistant Development Manager in organization of documentation as it relates to the development.
Prepare, evaluate and issue contracts to design professionals.
Direct and oversee outside design team consisting of architects, engineers, designers and other team members.
Review, and understand selections as they relate to the project, and the development.
Provide organized account of the coordination of pre-development activities. Providing weekly progress reports, pre-development budget updates and project deviations to ownership.
Develop and nurture relations according to Marous Development Group's core principles and values.
Project Management:
Establish, prepare, update and maintain a strong working pre-development schedule for all project planning milestones.
Reviews and understands the job soft cost reports and makes timely decisions to control all financial aspects of the project.
Provide precise planning, communication, and monitoring of the project throughout the pre-development process.
Always identify, understand, communicate and follow through with all aspects of the issues that arise on the project.
Clearly communicate schedule as it pertains to full entitlement.
Ensure that the construction plans are coordinated with the Marous Development Group's standards.
Project Development:
Request and evaluate existing public utility service information to ensure fees and availability.
Work as a team to develop, implement, follow-through with, and continue to improve upon procedures of the project management department.
Work as a team to ensure the success of all aspects of the pre-development process.
Project Communication:
Maintain an effective relationship with ownership.
Clearly communicate scheduling, and standard details and finishes expectations.
Understand questions and concerns, and work towards a resolution in a quick and effective way.
Maintain effective relationships with coworkers, vendors, suppliers, , customers, public officials, and trade organizations.
Adapt to changes within the industry, market, company, and department with positive attitude.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Construction Technology, or equivalent.
At least five (5) years of Project Management within the real estate development industry.
Experience with permitting and entitlement processes for new vertical construction projects.
Knowledge of construction industry with familiarity of building codes, laws and regulations.
