This role requires white glove service experience, with a strong background in managing Class A facilities. The Facilities Manager will ensure that operations meet the highest standards of quality, service, and safety, while providing support to Property Managers in managing repairs and investment plans.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and supervision to the team, including monitoring staff training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and offering coaching. Manage the recruitment and hiring process for new employees.
Organize and manage the team's daily activities, including setting work schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring staff cross-training. Track departmental goals and deadlines. Provide mentorship and guidance as needed.
Coordinate and oversee facility repairs and maintenance, ensuring top-tier service delivery through collaboration with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
Maintain strong client relationships and address unresolved facility issues with a focus on exceptional service. Regularly meet with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any facility-related concerns.
Manage and prepare capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports, ensuring alignment with Class A facility standards and budgetary constraints.
Conduct facility inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Recommend operational improvements, upgrades, and repairs that align with Class A expectations.
Ensure adherence to environmental health and safety procedures across the facility, maintaining a safe and compliant environment for all occupants.
Oversee vendor relationships with a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness, including reviewing price quotes for parts, services, and labor for various projects. Manage invoicing and procurement procedures with precision.
Lead training sessions on maintenance procedures, repairs, and safety best practices to ensure the team delivers "white glove" service at all times.
Set a positive example for the team, promoting behaviors aligned with the company's core values and fostering a culture of excellence. Facilitate collaboration to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Leverage expertise in facility management to resolve day-to-day operational issues, contributing to process improvements and maintaining high service levels.
