Job Description:
Travel Requirement: Up to 80% travelResponsibilities -
Supervision and Installation:
- Oversee installation of 4G/5G antennas, mounting hardware, RF fiber, AC/DC power cables, and associated connections.
- Manage the installation and integration of radio cabinets, telecommunications equipment, and DC power systems.
- Monitor the use of construction and telecommunications tools, including bucket trucks and aerial lifts.
Site Construction & Safety:
- Conduct site walks and ensure compliance with all safety regulations (OSHA, local guidelines).
- Validate technical site surveys, scoping packages, and bills of materials.
- Ensure quality and standards are met throughout implementation and acceptance processes.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
- Support troubleshooting of RF and fiber optic cables and connections.
- Handle installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of telecommunications cabinets and network nodes.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and returns.
Project Coordination:
- Manage supplier activities, including crew schedules, rollout capacity, payments, and safety compliance.
- Provide comprehensive and accurate project activity reports.
- Approve change requests and review site acceptance documentation.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in network rollout or wireless industry.
- Expertise in site construction, commissioning, and integration of telecommunications equipment.
- Knowledge of RAN, RF, microwave transmission, and fiber optic systems.
- Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel extensively.
- Experience with T-Mobile integration projects.
- Certifications in UMTS, LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, and GSM technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Additional Requirement:
- Hands-on experience with antennae and RF configuration.
- Electrical training and safe connection practices.
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as blueprints and manufacturer specifications.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
