Job Description: The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects from inception to completion. This role includes overseeing project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, risk management, and client relations. The Project Manager will guide a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring successful project execution, and may serve as an EPC Project Manager or Program Manager based on project requirements. The key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of multi-discipline engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Establish project teams, coordinate across multiple disciplines, and optimize staff utilization for cost-effective project execution.
Oversee the development of RFP packages, bid selection processes, and scope of work documents.
Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, control project costs, and ensure timely completion.
Serve as the primary client contact, handling strategic planning, budget management, subcontracting, and scheduling.
Manage contract reviews, negotiations, approvals, and execution of prime contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
Conduct internal and external project risk reviews, consulting with relevant departments as needed.
Provide detailed project cost forecasts, manage reporting efforts, and track field progress for accurate project updates.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance/quality control processes and company safety policies.
Participate in industry conferences and committees for business development and industry knowledge enhancement.
Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff members.
Drive new business revenue by leveraging and developing client relationships.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited program.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience, with prior experience in construction project sites or program management across industries like aviation, energy, oil & gas, water, etc.
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Experience with document control, scheduling, and cost control.
Collaborative team player capable of resolving design or drawing issues with multi-disciplined teams.
