Position Summary:
The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing multifamily and commercial construction projects. This individual will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring quality, safety, and financial success while fostering collaboration among all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
Leadership: Lead project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff, to ensure efficient project execution.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects stay on track.
Budget Oversight: Monitor project costs, manage change orders, and ensure adherence to financial goals.
Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns to maintain strong relationships.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, RFIs, and progress reports.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets company and client quality standards while complying with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor, specializing in multifamily and commercial projects.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Technical: Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
