Job Description:

Title: Project Manager Mergers and Acquisitions

Looking for a PM with Mergers and Acquisitions experience in Healthcare IT industry (e.g. acquisition of clinics / hospitals, divestiture of dept/hospital, joint venture between two health systems).

This PM will manage the applications (e.g. EHR, ancillary apps, rev cycle, ERP, interfaces, servers, data migration / archive, etc.) of an M&A project.

-PMI or PMP certification preferred.

The PM must have strong communication, leadership, and project management skills since there will be constant communication with high level executives while managing 50+ resources.

EHR application implementation experience (Cerner or Epic) is preferred but not required.

PM experience managing the applications of a construction projects (e.g. unit expansion, new hospital/clinic, medical office building, etc.) is also preferred but not required.

The PM will be managing construction projects if there is not enough M&A work.

Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.

Quick learner - there are lots of processes to follow and constant change to processes so the PM must be able to learn quickly and keep up with the changes

-Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.

-Manage backup, security and user help system.

-Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.

-Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.

-Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.

-Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.

-Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

-Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

-Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
