The Position
This Associate, Capital Markets position faces customers directly and prioritizes delivering an excellent experience. To support this goal, the analyst must know our products and services, to help our customers get the most out of LoanStreet. It's a dynamic, exciting role, that is critical to the trading desk. Attention to detail, knowledge of Google sheets and a friendly demeanor will be important for success.
Responsibilities
Loan Pool Building
Work with Sales & Trading to track deal pipeline
Assist in pricing of loan pools
Working with sellers to identify best opportunities, analysis of seller-provided historic data, understanding of loans being offered
Pool Due Diligence
Follow up on due diligence questions from buyers
Keep track of due diligence requests
Understand due diligence requirements across multiple loan products
Sales Assistance
Perform sales analytics
Liaise between Finance and Sales for deal reporting
Customer Success
Gather feedback from our customers and relay to Product/Design team
Analyze customer data to identify the best practices
Develop tools, processes and procedures to ensure customers are receiving the best possible knowledge of our products and customer service
Qualifications
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Math, Engineering, Statistics or other technical ?eld
Vast Experience with Excel, Google Sheets
Familiarity with Macros and Scripts
Passion for technology and for being a part of fast-growing FinTech company
Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and design effective processes
Self-starter and highly motivated
Someone who always knows to ask! ask! ask! if they're ever uncertain about something
