In recent years, our client has invested heavily in robotics, automation, and digital transformation. They have opened an innovation center, expanded into greenfield manufacturing in Mexico, and partnered with a new private equity firm to fuel their ambitious growth and expansion plans. As part of this growth, they are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join their team. This pivotal role involves driving operational excellence, overseeing capacity planning, managing production control, and leading new product introductions. With a focus on Lean Manufacturing principles and effective problem-solving, you will lead production teams to deliver exceptional results in quality, cost, and delivery.

Responsibilities:
Lead a multidisciplinary team to meet customer expectations in quality, cost, and delivery while achieving internal KPIs in safety, environmental compliance, and efficiency.
Implement and maintain manufacturing procedures aligned with ISO standards and customer requirements.
Provide technical expertise and leadership to address product and process challenges, fostering a culture of problem-solving and innovation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and enhance workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions to production challenges, optimizing workflows and enhancing productivity.
Oversee the integration of new systems and products into the production environment, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
Carry out resource and labor planning to deliver on the production plan and maximize the effective utilization of resources
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in a production management role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Technical problem-solving expertise and a hands-on approach to addressing production challenges.
Plastics manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential
