Summary:

As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and optimization of inventory levels. You will analyze inventory data, forecast demand, monitor stock levels, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to develop and implement inventory control procedures and recommend process improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Essential Functions:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Report manufacturing production in ERP system, troubleshooting any discrepancies
  • Monitor inventory turnover rates and develop strategies to optimize
  • Implement strategies to manage and reduce excess inventory levels
  • Collaborate with Purchasing team to identify and minimize stockouts.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and efficient inventory flow.
  • Conduct regular analysis of inventory levels and trends to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain inventory forecasting models to predict demand and facilitate accurate inventory planning.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to management on inventory performance and trends.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in inventory management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management and recommend relevant changes to policies and procedures.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in inventory management or related field in a manufacturing environment.
  • APICS - CPIM certification a plus
