Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for flexible packaging materials, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sustainability goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, R&D, and operations, to support innovation and product development initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends and leverage insights to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyze spend data and prepare regular reports to track performance against key procurement metrics.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in procurement, particularly in flexible packaging or related materials.
  • Strong negotiation, solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering value and achieving results.
  • Familiarity with market trends in packaging materials and a commitment to sustainability initiatives.
  • Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, with strong analytical capabilities to interpret spend data and market insights effectively.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing roles, with a focus on flexible packaging materials.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
