Metro District - Planning, Program Management and Transit (Roseville, MN): 2 vacancies
Office of Transit and Active Transportation (St. Paul, MN): 2 vacancies
Office of Transportation System Management (St. Paul, MN): 2 vacancies
Office of Sustainability & Public Health (St. Paul, MN): 1 vacancy
MnDOT's Planning Internship Program seek students and recent graduates to support transportation planning efforts across the state. Planning interns will work closely with experienced planning staff to help develop plans, conduct stakeholder engagement, analyze data, manage transportation system performance measures, and more. In office work schedules are set by each unit or office and will vary across the internship positions. If positions allow, there may be flexibility to work a hybrid schedule or work in the office. The incumbent may be expected to work in the office on occasion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A master's or bachelor's degree in planning, geography, urban studies, sociology, political science, or a closely related field.
OR
One year of professional transportation planning experience.
