The Financial Solutions Specialist is responsible for connecting clients with a wide range of banking products and services that help them achieve their financial goals. This role involves balancing service requests with sales opportunities, offering expert guidance on financial solutions, understanding client needs, and recommending tailored products and services to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and strengthen client relationships by uncovering their financial needs and recommending appropriate banking products and services.
Respond to client inquiries and concerns, offering customized solutions to meet their goals.
Sell and fulfill banking products, including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, Certificates of Deposit (CDs), Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), and loans.
Identify client needs for licensed services and refer to appropriate Line of Business partners.
Provide quotes for rates, terms, and banking solutions.
Manage risk in all business, product, and service transactions using available tools and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Passion for improving clients' financial lives and delivering excellent service.
Strong teamwork and adaptability, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, ask probing questions, explain options in plain language, and address objections effectively.
Comfort with receiving feedback and coaching to improve performance.
Open to learning new technologies and processes.
Proficient in using computers and banking technology at an intermediate level.
Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience in the banking or financial industry.
Call center experience or experience in telephone-based sales.
