We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Ignition PJ Support - Strategy & Optimization Lead. In this role, you will assist the lead in overseeing multiple sites, focusing on strategy, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be instrumental in driving alignment across different locations, ensuring that strategic goals are met, and operational efficiencies are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Strategic Initiatives: Assist the lead in developing and executing strategies that drive business growth and operational efficiency across multiple sites.
Site Oversight: Provide support in overseeing performance and project implementation across various sites, ensuring consistency in approach and execution.
Data Analysis & Optimization: Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and enhanced operational efficiencies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different teams, including production, quality, logistics, and engineering, to align strategies and optimize processes.
Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Problem-Solving: Lead or assist in problem-solving efforts to address operational challenges and ensure project timelines are met.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate progress, challenges, and strategic insights to stakeholders.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience in a strategy, project management, or optimization role, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
Willingness to travel to multiple sites as needed.
