Mr. Electric is looking for an Electrical Field Manager to join our team!
COMP TARGET: $100-150k, depending on experience
The Field Manager will oversee, supervise, and evaluate employees in the field and at customers homes or sites. We are looking for a Field Manager who is highly motivated and results-driven to be a part of our team. The Field Manager s responsibilities include supporting, training, and overseeing our field technicians, supervising our workers on site, and directing operations in the field. A successful Field Manager is an independent thinker with excellent leadership, observational, and analytical skills. This individual will be goal-oriented with a strong working knowledge of the fieldwork being performed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hiring, training, and motivating field technicians.
Assigning technicians, job scheduling, and supplies/equipment delivery to field technicians.
Traveling to job sites and evaluating field technicians.
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction that aligns with "best practice" foundations set forth by Trades and Neighborly.
Engage in generated reports that highlight the strengths and weaknesses of each field technician.
Work together with field managers, business unit managers, dispatch and dispatch support staff to implement "best practice" field operations.
Developing direct reports with mentoring, coaching and training.
Submitting required reports to business unit managers.
Participate in training programs for field technicians to ensure they can perform their duties effectively.
Set up a one-on-one meeting with each employee as needed to review performance, skill level, or as deemed necessary.
Monitoring and enforcing field rules among technicians.
Facilitating communication for maintenance and repair to company vehicles and equipment that adheres to the company vehicle and equipment maintenance schedule.
Ensure field technicians arrive for scheduled van inventory appointments set by the inventory controller.
Support other business units and concepts under the Trades umbrella of companies
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years experience as an Electrician
3+ years experience in a lead or managerial role
Ability to perform, teach and perfect all relevant job tasks
Excellent project management, organizational, time management, and leadershipskills
Good communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and independent thinking
Eagerness to become industry leaders in technology and advancement in your trade
