DAY TO DAY AS A FUND DEVELOPERAs a Full-Time Fund Developer at Alma Domestic Violence Foundation, you'll be at the forefront of crafting and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that meets our annual and long-term financial objectives. Your role will involve researching and writing grant proposals to secure funding from diverse sources, including foundations and government agencies. You'll cultivate lasting relationships with individual donors and corporate partners, while overseeing the planning and execution of fundraising events like galas, golf tournaments, 5k races and charity auctions.Additionally, you'll create compelling donor communications to engage and inspire contributions. Your expertise will extend to identifying corporate sponsorship opportunities, managing a detailed fundraising database, and working closely with our Board of Directors to leverage their networks. Knowledge of donor cultivation and stewardship best practices, along with proficiency in fundraising software and donor management systems, is required.You should be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines independently.
