A role you will love
In this role, you'll ensure operational asset management alignment across regional field support teams in EMEA, Americas, and APAC. You will also play a pivotal role in coordinating global project deliverables, including end user device refresh, security patching, and larger IT initiatives such as OS upgrades.
In addition, you'll manage the budget for hardware and software procurement and lifecycle management, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditure and forecasting future asset needs.
Other key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing policy for Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) acquisition, usage and retirement across all Computershare locations
Establishing automated processes for asset registration, allocation, returns, and disposals
Overseeing the procurement, deployment, and decommissioning of hardware assets such as laptops, desktops, smartphones, monitors, and peripherals
Creating and managing the annual budget for assets, ensuring alignment with business needs and financial goals
Forecasting future asset requirements and costs based on business growth and refresh cycles
Collaborating with procurement teams to source assets from approved vendors
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery of assets
Acting as the primary point of contact for global coordination of assets and any asset impacted IT projects
Developing and maintaining project timelines and ensure that regional teams meet key deliverables and deadlines
Working closely with IT, finance, and regional field support teams to align asset management activities with broader business objectives
Acting as a liaison between stakeholders to address specific end user needs, requirements, and escalations
Developing and providing regular reports on asset status, usage, and performance to senior management
Utilizing data to make informed decisions and improve processes
Continuously evaluating asset management processes to identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, cost, and user satisfaction
Adapting to changing and conflicting business priorities and demonstrate the ability to influence the team to work in an agile manner ensuring high levels of service quality
What will you bring to the role?
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can effectively build relationships while working with stakeholders and partners at all levels. You also influence and challenge effectively and listen and respond to challenges.
You'll also bring:
5+ years of experience working across multiple ITIL aligned disciplines in a management capacity, especially Incident, Problem and Change
Demonstrable experience in establishing IT Asset Management, procurement or related roles
Proven experience with managing end user devices at a global scale, including budget oversight and financial tracking
Experience using asset management tools and systems (e.g. ServiceNow)
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
Experience with ITIL process design & implementation
Experience developing and maintaining service agreements and managed service arrangements with internal team and external suppliers
Ability to keep the team updated on strategic initiatives by means of written updates and presentations
Solid leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor direct reports and instill strategic objectives and direction

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $115,000 - $150,000 USD. This base pay is specific to Edison, NJ and may not be applicable to all locations. This range reflects our good faith effort to pay fairly based on our job evaluation of this role and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
