Our client is seeking a curious and thoughtful UI/UX Production Designer to join our highly collaborative team. You will work closely with marketing and creative resources to create and update materials for pitching a consumer "wallet" experience. This role focuses on creating client-specific demo materials to support the sales process, requiring meticulous attention to detail to ensure logos, links, and other elements are accurate and uphold our reputation for quality and excellence. A digital portfolio is required for consideration.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product management, designers, data analysts, and engineers during discovery and requirements gathering sessions.
Build design artifacts based on analytics, user research, and best practices, following direction from creative team leaders.
Ideate and provide multiple design solutions.
Share work regularly and refine designs based on feedback.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Define final layout, font, colors, and spacing rules for user interfaces, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines (Optum, UHC, or commercial clients).
Source images, icons, or videos needed to complete designs.
Present designs clearly, articulating the problem being solved and the user journey.
Manage timelines, milestones, and internal processes to ensure timely delivery.
Serve as the subject matter expert on capabilities across different portals, surfaces, and channels.
Apply design patterns appropriately and partner with the research team to prepare and build prototypes for user testing.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in web and mobile platforms.
Expert-level understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) is a plus.
Proficiency in Figma for documenting designs and creating prototypes.
A portfolio demonstrating creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human-computer interaction, interaction design, graphic design, or a related field.
