Salary: $19.00 USD Hourly - $21.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant I in Downey, CA!



Job Type: Ongoing Contract (W2, Weekly Pay, Benefits Available)

Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5pm PST

Location: Downey, CA 90241

Compensation: $19-21 based on education/experience



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist clinicians with patient examinations and treatments.


• Provide front and/or back office support.


• Greet patients and ensure their data and paperwork are in order.


• Conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs, and record reasons for visits.


• Explain procedures, perform treatments, and administer prescribed medications.


• Oversee patient check-out, schedule follow-up appointments, and collect co-payments.


• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, and reconcile co-payments daily.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited school.


• 
  Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) required.
  


• Covid Vax &TB Test required.


• Phlebotomy background preferred.
