Job Description:

This position is contingent upon a contract award.

Recruits and develops ongoing relationships with counselors to create a field network of rotational and contracted network counselors which deliver counseling services to military bases in both the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS). Initiates investigations of counselor and military installation point of contact (POC) complaints. Assists in mentoring and training of new staff. Assigned projects requiring specialized knowledge.


  • Identifies counselors and develops and maintains positive long-term counselor relationships in support of the Federal contract. Meets goal of recruiting to assure a network of sufficient size to address all service requests.


  • Maintains tracking systems and manages counselor data to assure that credentialing information is shared in a timely manner between Human Resources, and the Credentialing and Operations departments, and criminal background check vendors.


  • Facilitates complaint resolution of provider complaints, claims, and issues to assuring a timely response and resolution within program expectations.


  • Actively participates in quality improvement activities to increase quality of network recruitment, provider relations and complaint management.


  • Independently develops recruitment strategies for networking in the communities where open positions exist by developing creative ways to recruit based on any unique needs (i.e. professional organizations, licensing boards).


  • Builds relationships with counselors in the network to evaluate if counselors are a potential fit for the program, not just based on credentials, but well suited for the program.


  • Ensures that all credentialing criteria are met prior to provider`s deployment.


  • Continuously monitors provider`s credentials to ensure they are compliant with performance guarantees.


  • Understands the direct financial impact of placing counselors in open positions by supporting performance guarantees related to fill rates.


  • Works in conjunction with company security and HR to propose recommendations for exceptions to standard processes (within program scope) for unique situations and do so without direction or approval from their supervisor.


  • Manages relationships with our contracted service provider and hold them accountable for meeting performance expectations.


  • Investigates data in the network to understand or probe into what may have occurred with a provider, and research to make decisions about whether or not to pursue a provider based on research.


  • Orients and mentors new staff.


  • Demonstrates expertise by taking on specialized projects or developing specialized knowledge related to network development, recruitment, or other opportunities to improve service delivery.


  • Establishes and maintains procedures to support OCONUS rotational, surge, on-demand and camp assignments by understanding government and country-specific requirements.


  • Tracks and organizes necessary information and/or documents to assure all regulatory requirements are met for both CONUS and OCONUS assignments.


  • All other duties as assigned.



Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities
5+ years network or provider relations experience.
Knowledge of armed services programs and/or previous provider recruitment and relations experience.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Intermediate MS Office Suite working knowledge.
Proof of US Citizenship required and must speak fluent English.

Salary Maximum:
$75,335

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
