A Day in the Life
Great opportunity for a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer with strong coding experience as well as hardware description language experience such as Verilog or VHDL. Expected experience with Cadence, Synopsis or Mentor Graphics.
Experience designing digital design of Integrated Circuits (IC), Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC), or Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)
Preferred: Experience with simulation to support verification of above applications, including Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and constrained random techniques.
Other Nice to Haves: Experience with digital design implementation including synthesis, timing, placement, routing, and power analysis.
Preferred: Familiarity with requirements driven safety critical government regulated industries such as medical or aerospace / defense.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates digital integrated circuitry blocks for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.

  • Determines design approaches and parameters.

  • Simulates and or verifies digital designs to ensure proper functionality.

  • Supports implementation of digital designs including synthesis, timing, placement, routing, and power analysis.

  • Analyzes design to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.

  • Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.

  • May also review vendor capability to support product development.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have practical knowledge of project management.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. • 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):103000 - 155000

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
