Job Description:

Baer is looking for SAP PP-PE Consultant (Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety) for a 12+ month remote project.


Title: SAP PP-PE Consultant (Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety)
Location: Remote and possible travel to Texas and Oklahoma
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and safety teams to gather and analyze user requirements.
• Offer expert advice on system capabilities, demonstrating how SAP can be used to meet operational needs.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with users to track task progress, resolve issues, and provide timely updates.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a respectful and efficient working environment.
• Create and sustain comprehensive, user-friendly documentation for IT platforms supporting manufacturing, quality, and safety operations.
• Develop detailed operational guidelines for workflows, data management, and best practices.
• Continually review and update documentation to reflect system updates and evolving business standards.
• Perform assessments of manufacturing, quality, and safety processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Work with cross-functional teams to propose, design, and implement system enhancements.
• Evaluate current practices against industry standards to ensure alignment with best-in-class methodologies.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with governance policies, cybersecurity guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the company.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that compliance and governance protocols are followed during system implementation.
• Design and deliver training sessions for end users, focusing on new system applications, features, and processes.
• Conduct interactive workshops to demonstrate system functionalities and workflows.
• Assist in deployment by supporting testing phases (unit, integration, and UAT), resolving configuration issues, and ensuring readiness for go-live.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans that include timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Track project progress, address potential roadblocks, and update stakeholders regularly.
• Oversee post-implementation evaluations to ensure the system's continued performance and improvement.

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Production Planning (PP) and Production Execution (PE) modules; experience with SAP S4 HANA is highly desired.
• 5 years working as a functional consultant with a deep understanding of manufacturing and quality processes in an IT environment.
• Experience in the beverage industry is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Production Execution (PE) modules.
• Familiarity with SAP S4 HANA platform and capabilities is a significant advantage.
• Experience in the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of SAP ERP systems in manufacturing and quality functions.
• Experience with integrating non-SAP systems with SAP solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Ability to travel as required, primarily within Texas and Oklahoma, for on-site activities like user training, system implementations, and operational support.
