Job Summary: As Associate Sales Representative, you will partner with a team of Direct Sales Specialists and be responsible for the sale of BD Biosciences (BDB) consumable products (primarily flow cytometry) and enable and support BDB U.S. sales associates to drive revenue growth, enhance market development, coordinate account management, and facilitate solution selling and an improved customer experience.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Drive revenue growth to meet or exceed the U.S. BDB revenue budget by partnering with and enabling the BDB Sales organization with a predominant focus in flow cytometry products.
Develop and influence new customers and maintain contact with existing customers primarily via telephone or virtual/electronic channels, to achieve or exceed sales objectives.
Partner with BDB Field Sales Specialists (Research Reagent and Instrument Sales) for lead sharing and revenue optimization.
Identify and monitor existing opportunities in sales funnel that require nurturing and provide appropriate follow-up.
Manage the Salesforce CRM database for potential customers and contact them regularly.
Support customer BDB product inquiries (i.e., inventory lookup, product expiration dating, order status, logistics, etc.).
Analyze customer revenue and product trends as needed.
To be successful in this role, we require:
Minimum 1-3 years Lab/Flow Cytometry/Life Science experience and/or 1-3 years of customer sales support /account management experience preferably in life sciences required.
Minimum BA/BS in Life Sciences, biology, business, or related field required; MS, MBA and/or PhD are strongly preferred.
Ability to travel to customer sales calls and meetings up to 10-15% annually in multiple US regions; candidates should reside near a large airport.
Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards.
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Analytical with financial orientation; able to analyze reports, territory/market, and determine demand generation strategies to target potential clients.
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills; strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Able to maintain a positive work atmosphere including professional excellence, teamwork, and integrity.
Direct flow cytometry and/or bench or laboratory work experience with basic immunology/cellular biology is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products required; SAP, Salesforce, and supply chain systems skills are preferred.
