Enthalpy Analytical sales team is a group of high-performing, skilled professionals with a focus on selling environmental testing to national, regional and local engineering consulting firms, local, regional and federal government agencies, and end user industrial clients across North America.



About the Technical Sales Manager role:



Using your networking, problem solving, communication and influencing skills, you will sell Enthalpy's best in market PFAS and High Resolution to ensure an elegant and brag-worthy client experience. As someone seasoned in client prospecting and development, you will uncover testing opportunities in the growing PFAS and HR market.


Reporting to the National PFAS Leader, you will:


  • Support growth of our PFAS/HRMS labs as a well networked sales leader

  • Provide senior level peer coaching and mentoring for more junior staff through joint calls, participate in internal strategy meetings, etc. Visit supporting labs on a regular (quarterly minimum) basis to maintain relationships and stay connected.

  • Develop winning deal strategy and "own" these opportunities from end to end

  • Be an ambassador for the Enthalpy brand through participation in major conferences - review our list of conferences and agree to a travel/tradeshow plan and budget to support your networking needs

  • Participate in cross selling for our Montrose services on major accounts - PFAS water treatment, consulting opportunities, ambient air, etc.

  • Engage as a member of our Key Client Program to support growth of selected accounts

  • Learn and grow through participation in our Sales Skills Development workshops on a monthly basis

As an interpersonal seller, you are:


  • A natural networker, able to cultivate relationships from the start and deepen

  • Over time; capable of identifying and building relationships with key contacts and "right fit" ideal client companies.

  • A client centric advisor, able to identify and filter your clients' specific pain points

  • and use a consultative approach to the customer engagement to generate sales

  • Asking the right questions at the right time to move the engagement forward and uncover the need and the real challenges of the client/project.

Our ideal candidate:


Has 5+ years experience in environmental sales environment, doing business development and selling specifically to local and national private organizations/firms, as well as government agencies (local, state and Federal), and has other experience that has solidified sales foundational knowledge
