Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will assist in the day-to-day human resources tasks, helping to maintain an efficient department that provides outstanding HR service to the Ragon Community. The selected candidate will assist the Human Resources Director, Human Resources Manager, and Human Resources Sr. Coordinator with various items within the employee lifecycle. This is an excellent role for an individual with administrative experience looking to move into the Human Resources space.


Job Duties:


The Human Resources Coordinator will have primary responsibility for the following functions:


Management of the employee timekeeping process, including sending timekeeping reminders, approving weekly timecards, and submitting edits as needed


Ownership of various maintenance and audit processes, including HR module, list serves, personnel folders, employee lists, etc.


Management of the performance evaluation documentation process including sending reminders, receiving and storing performance evaluations


Coordination of temporary employees via MGH's temporary employee service


Sending compliance reminders regarding vaccinations, training, etc.


Providing recruitment support by posting positions in the online system and scheduling interviews and phone screens as needed


Oversight of the HR Inbox, replying to messages as able and escalating issues as needed


Other duties as assigned, or project support as needed


The Human Resources Coordinator will have backup responsibilities in the following areas, which are primarily covered by the Human Resources Sr. Coordinator:




  • Onboarding and Orientation






  • Departure Processing






  • Various Employee & Non-Employee Processes






  • Visa Processing






  • Stipend Processing




The Human Resources Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the Director as needed, as well as participate in various HR projects and provide backup coverage for other members of the HR team as necessary.



Qualifications

Minimum degree and field of knowledge: High School degree required; Bachelors preferred.


Years experience required: 1-2 years of experience, preferably supporting the HR function, recruiting, or staffing/consulting firm; familiarity with HR processes, specifically onboarding and operations, is preferred.


Qualifications:




  • Must be adept at working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; multi-tasking as needed, and providing follow-up to close the loop on transactions/requests






  • Strong organizational, communication & problem-solving skills






  • Keen attention to detail and strong customer service mindset






  • Must be familiar with standard office equipment and well versed in using MS Office suite, Adobe, Slack, Zoom, etc.






  • Should be comfortable with presenting and facilitating in front of an audience






  • Ability to perform as a team member; strong interpersonal skills






  • Must be comfortable with managing confidential employee information; maintaining confidentiality at all times






  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, having the ability to adapt quickly and still maintain productivity






  • Technically savvy






  • Proactive- making thoughtful suggestions for process improvements to HR leadership
