About the Role and about You:

The Flight Operations position will be based in Hawthorne, CA. The incumbent of this role, under the general guidance and direction of the Chief Pilot and the Director of Operations will be responsible for prioritizing emails and phone calls from the pilot group, gathering documents to prepare for meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements


You are highly motivated, organized, attentive to detail, communicate well, and safety focused.


What you will do:

  • Audit flight logs, crew duty logs, etc.
  • Address crew questions related to administrative duties
  • Organize and track the onboarding process of all incoming pilots
  • Assist in the calculation of crew per diems and crew additional pay incentives
  • Maintain and track pilot qualifications in TripCheq, for compliance with Safety Rating
  • Update flight times for all pilots in Jetinsight as required; organize and control JetInsight regarding crew records
  • Manage the calendar for the chief pilot in scheduling final candidate interviews, pilot performance reviews, etc.
  • Assist in managing the Advanced Air Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) program, limited to assembling, programming and updating the Pilot and Flight Attendant’s EFB
  • Organize and purchase all Pilot and Flight Attendant Uniforms
  • Execute other duties and responsibilities as assigned


What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a 135 Flight Department, 2+ Years
  • Valid California Driver's License and minimum age of 18
  • Ability to pass FAA drug/alcohol screening and background check
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, etc. as needed
