RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior Business Analyst in Miami Lakes, FL.

Summary:
As a Junior Business Analyst, you will work on cross-functional projects to drive impactful change. Projects vary greatly in scope and complexity requiring you to perform various functions from defining requirements, troubleshooting, test development and execution to project management. The position responsibilities will require the candidate to become a subject matter expert in all billing options for both FPL and FPL NW, to effectively support the operation and projects, and ensure we continue to provide seamless experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Junior Business Analyst will be responsible for the application testing process for internal and external applications; This includes end-to-end user acceptance testing


• Collaborate with IT and other business units to solve real time technical issues and conduct root cause analysis


• Ensure all processes are well documented


• Build strong working understanding of the technical solution being delivered and analyzes and determines failure points in the solution


• Conducts basic operational analyses that supports informed decision making within the business unit, under the direction of a Senior Business Analyst, Business Analyst I, or immediate supervisor with mentoring and guidance


• Small to medium special projects, quantitative and qualitative research, process design and modification, and report development; Applies standardized tools and techniques

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree a plus; 1 year of related experience preferred


• Ability to execute test scripts, report defects accurately and thoroughly, and retest efficiently

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
